- 1 small head of lettuce
- ½ cup of each:
- chopped celery
- chopped green pepper
-chopped scallion onions
- 1 - 10 oz pkg frozen peas (run under cold water to thaw, do not cook)
- 1 pkg shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1 pint mayo or miracle whip
- sugar
Fill salad bowl ½ full of lettuce. Put on layers of celery, onion, green peppers and peas. Cover with mayo. Sprinkle sugar over dressing. Cover with cheese and bacon on top. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours before serving.
