spud nut dough

* * * for cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls

1 quart of milk
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 pkg yeast (dissolved in 1 cup warm water)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 ½ tbsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 12 cups flour


Bring milk and oil to a boil. Add potatoes and sugar, let cool. Add soda, powder, vanilla and yeast to milk mixture. Let rise for 15 minutes. Add eggs, well beaten, salt and gradually add the flour. Keep the dough soft. Let raise once, punch down, raise again, punch down, raise again, punch down. Make dough into separate balls (medium size). Let raise again. Bake at 350-375 degrees for 30 minutes.
