- 1 cup real butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 2 cups softened vanilla ice cream
- 2 ½ tsp almond extract
In a medium size pot, combine the butter, sugars
and cocoa on low heat. Stir frequently until the butter
melts. Put in a mixing bowl and add the ice cream
and almond extract. Beat until smooth. Store mixture
in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
To serve: pour ¾ cup hot water or coffee over ¼ cup of
the mixture. Stir until blended. Add whipped cream on
top if desired.
