10 Passion Principals
When it comes to creating your life, it doesn't matter if you have resources, time, money, or talent -- what you need more than anything is passion. You must know that your goals come from your deepest values and desires. Here are 10 ways to help that happen.
Take passionate action towards living your life by DESIGN. Talk is cheap. You can feel strongly that you want something in life, but if you keep that idea in your head, it will fade with time. Without ACTION, passion is void.
THE RIGHT STARTING PLACE
Commit to yourself as well as those you love to create powerfully a life you can love. Instead of REACTING to the world around you, commit to a proactive stance. Instead of focusing on the externl, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear. Be amazed as the TRANSFORMATION begins.
Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its OUTCOME. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift. But never let a minute go by that you regret -- there is always something positive to come from every experience, every second of the day. Don't waste the time you have now hoping for a different tomorrow -- instead USE this moment to get to that tomorrow.
Dwell completely in a place of GRATITUDE. One of the quickest ways to sabotage a dream or goal is to cling to hard to it -- to grasp at the end result like it's a life preserver. Always maintain a sense that you are complete and well as you are, even without that accomplishment. Slipping into neediness will become less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness.
THE RIGHT EQUATION
Use a "passion formula" of Recognize/Reevaluate/Restore in place of the Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda whirlwind. The former is based in increased knowledge and ABUNDANCE while the latter focuses on scarcity and LACK. You would rather be richly passionate!
A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Keep HUMOR at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible. You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up! Humor is very attractive, very passionate and life-giving. And it can infuse any dream or goal with the power to keep you going -- to see you through to the END.
HAVE FAITH
Trust that you are in the right place at the right time to learn whatever LESSONS you are meant to be learning. It does no good to say, "Why did this happen to me?" -- you can't change circumstances, you can only learn from them and move on. Make sure you have SUPPORT in this. Become a part of a community of people where you can express from the heart and embrace each other's dreams and life philosophy. Know that you will be honored as you honor one another.
WE NEED OTHER PEOPLE
Be strongly vulnerable in CONNECTING with people core to core instead of superficially. Replace backing away behavior with drawing close behavior. Practice interdependency for the strength of SYNERGY rather than the weakness of self indulgence.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY
Believe that you are the ARCHITECT of your destiny. No one can take your passionate future from you except for you! Create your life authentically. Watch everything flow into place with perfect, passionate precision.
